Job summary

St. Luke's in Idaho seeks a Clinical Research Supervisor to oversee day-to-day clinical research operations and personnel across rheumatology, orthopedics, sports medicine, neurology, wound care, and other areas.

You will supervise study staffing, ensure GCP/IRB compliance, and support startup, enrollment, and study performance across Boise and Meridian with some travel. The role involves coordinating with investigators, maintaining SOPs, and preparing for audits while upholding regulatory

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in clinical research supervision.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the daily activities and performance of assigned research staff, including work assignment, prioritization, coaching, training, performance management, scheduling, timecard approval, and collaboration with research leadership; manages financial stewardship of the assigned area.
• Ensures studies are conducted in accordance with protocol requirements, GCP, IRB policies, and federal regulations; oversees study coordination activities and performs primary CRC functions.
• Assists in staffing, onboarding, and retention activities for assigned research personnel.
• Oversees workload distribution, staffing coverage, and operational support for assigned research personnel and research studies.
• Collaborates with investigators and operational partners to support startup, enrollment, execution, and study performance.
• Serves as an operational resource for investigators and research personnel on processes and regulatory requirements.
• Assists with implementing and maintaining departmental policies, procedures, and SOPs.
• Prepares for sponsor/regulatory/accreditation audits, inspections, monitoring visits, and quality improvement activities; identifies/escalates concerns.
• Maintains competency in clinical research regulations and organizational requirements.
