Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a Clinical Research Start Up Specialist to drive efficient study intake from CDA to Epic RSH setup.

You will manage study documents, review intake submissions, and coordinate workflows in the CTMS while ensuring accurate Epic details. The role collaborates with Investigators, study teams, Finance, and external vendors to meet deadlines and maintain compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or three+ years relevant experience.
• Experience in clinical research conduct, regulatory compliance or budgeting preferred.
• Ability to interpret CTA cost language and visit protocols.
• Strong understanding of research billing compliance preferred.
• Healthcare finance experience is preferred.
• Work independently and as part of a team with minimal direction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data management.

Responsibilities

• Supports rapid start up workflows and intake of new studies for viability review.
• Collaborates with Research Operations, Finance, and external vendors to meet deadlines.
• Coordinates feasibility to contract execution across funding types.
• Reviews documents to ensure required information is present and routed properly.
• Tracks dates and statuses in CTMS and Epic RSH setup.
• Ensures deadlines are met and coordinates with investigators and study teams.
