Summary:
The Clinical Research General Manager will report to the CEO and will help develop and supervise the execution of strategic plans for the continued growth and development of BHCCR. Established in 2012, BHCCR has over 35 employees and operates as a unique, independent research site within Baptist Health, Arkansas's largest healthcare system. This role is hands-on and involves collaboration with project management, Quality Assurance, recruitment, finance, personnel, business development, and regulatory departments to successfully execute research projects.
Additional Information:
Candidates should have extensive experience in clinical research at a site level, particularly as a site manager overseeing various clinical studies in a multispecialty research environment. A minimum of a bachelor's degree in science or business is required; an MBA, RN, APRN, MD, or PhD with site management experience is a plus. The role demands knowledge of business development, organizational skills, entrepreneurial mindset, adaptability, decision-making ability, and scientific literacy to understand research protocols. Excellent communication skills for interaction with physicians and non-physicians are essential. The position offers a bi-weekly schedule of 80 hours.
