Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center seeks a Clinical Research Quality Control (QC) and Preceptorship Lead to mentor CRCs, develop training resources, and drive continuous improvement across research operations in Seattle. You will lead onboarding, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with investigators and managers to elevate training standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on coaching, cross-team collaboration, and the creation of standardized tools to support high-quality clinical research

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Social Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in clinical research, research, or healthcare work, with emphasis on clinical trial coordination, monitoring, or training.
• Experience working directly with clinical research coordinators, including observation, troubleshooting, and hands-on support.
• Strong knowledge of clinical research processes, GCP (Good Clinical Practice), and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding and leadership of new team members, including training and coaching to ensure adherence to processes.
• Develop, update, and maintain training resources and tools for CRCs to stay current on tasks.
• Collaborate with leaders to identify gaps and align resource development with training strategy.
• Monitor and improve CAPA actions and training outcomes across the team.
• Support audits and regulatory compliance across the training program.
