Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Research Program Manager to initiate and manage research projects within a department. You will oversee planning, implementation, and management of projects for the Sickle Cell program, ensuring alignment with scientific objectives and allocated effort, working with study PIs.

Responsibilities include leading timelines, coordinating contracts, regulatory submissions, data management, and study coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• At least 5 years of experience in clinical research, incl. 3 years in project management.
• Experience mentoring staff and coordinating cross-functional teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex research projects and study timelines.
• Oversee contracts, subawards, and sponsor agreements.
• Manage IRB submissions and multisite regulatory compliance.
• Develop workflows and coordinate stakeholders across departments.
• Maintain databases, data quality, and reporting for studies.
• Coordinate research visits and ensure protocol adherence.
• Support participant recruitment and long-term follow-up.
• Collaborate with investigators, sponsors, and regulatory offices.
