Work under moderate supervision to initiate and manage research projects and programs within a department.
This position will be overseeing the planning, implementation, and management of research projects for Dr. Martin's Sickle Cell program, ensuring alignment with defined scientific objectives and allocated effort, working directly with study Principal Investigators (Pl).
Lead and manage complex research projects and study timelines.
Oversee research contracts, subawards, and sponsor agreements.
Manage IRB submissions, regulatory compliance, and multisite studies.
Develop workflows, improve processes, and coordinate stakeholders.
Maintain databases, ensure data quality, and support reporting and analysis.
Coordinate research visits and ensure protocol compliance.
Support participant recruitment, enrollment, and long‑term follow‑up.
Collaborate with investigators, sponsors, regulatory offices, and external partners.
Support grant applications, manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations.
This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information.
