Apex Skin is seeking a Clinical Research Assistant/Phlebotomist to support the Research Department across Mayfield Heights and Lorain. The role involves coordinating, implementing, and conducting research studies with emphasis on phlebotomy, data capture, regulatory documents, and participant recruitment.

The ideal candidate will have Medical Assisting and phlebotomy certification, strong communication, and meticulous clinical attention in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of clinical environment experience preferred.
• Ideal candidates are certified in Medical Assisting and phlebotomy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordination, implementation, and conduct of research projects ensuring protocol adherence.
• Maintain regulatory documents and data management; assist with IRB submissions.
• Schedule visits, audits, and site communications; recruit potential participants as directed.
• Assist with preparation for audits and sponsor visits; maintain research tools and CTMS.
