Pharmaron is seeking a dedicated Research Assistant to support clinical research activities in Baltimore, MD. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience working with medical professionals and research teams, ensuring protocol adherence and high-quality data collection.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, vital signs, ECGs, specimen collection, and daily study operations. A High School diploma and 1,000+ phlebotomy hours are required; BLS certification should be obtained within 3 months,

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
1,000+ hours of phlebotomy experience required.
BLS certification (or obtain within 3 months).
Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
Strong attention to detail and team-oriented mindset.
Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform clinical procedures: phlebotomy, vital signs, ECGs, BMI, specimen collection.
Assist with participant admissions/discharges and daily study operations.
Ensure real-time data entry and protocol compliance.
Support study setup, equipment checks, and source document management.
Maintain clean and organized unit space, including stocking and basic housekeeping.
Collaborate across research teams and provide exceptional subject care.
