The Department of Neurology at the University of Louisville is seeking a Manager of Research to oversee clinical and translational research initiatives focused on stroke and cerebrovascular disease. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and four years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Master’s degree in clinical research, public health, neuroscience, healthcare administration, project management, or a related field.
• Four or more years of experience managing clinical research projects, research operations, or complex healthcare initiatives.
• Experience with IRB processes, Good Clinical Practice, human subjects protections, and regulatory documentation.
• Experience supervising, training, or coordinating research personnel and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

• Provide project management and operational oversight for assigned clinical and translational research initiatives, including clinical trials, investigator-initiated studies, registries, and federally funded projects.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, enrollment goals, and performance tracking systems.
• Coordinate regulatory submissions, study documentation, monitoring visits, and quality assurance activities.
• Oversee patient recruitment, enrollment, study visits, and follow-up activities with clinical teams.
• Monitor research data collection, documentation, quality, and reporting; prepare progress reports for investigators and sponsors.
• Provide operational leadership and oversight to research personnel, coordinating workloads and staffing.
• Coordinate research budgets, resources, contracts, and start-up activities with investigators and institutional offices.
