Job summary

NYU Langone Health seeks a Clinical Research Finance Manager to lead budget development, negotiations, and billing terms for industry-sponsored trials within the Heart portfolio. The role interfaces with PIs, industry sponsors, CROs, and OSR units to ensure fiscal sustainability and timely study activation.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years in budgets/billing, and knowledge of NCCDs and CMS policies; a Master's degree and PMP are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting, finance, or healthcare-related field.
• Three or more years experience developing and negotiating budgets and billing.
• Working understanding of research billing compliance and CMS policies.
• Budget development, coverage analysis, and budget negotiation experience.

Responsibilities

• Build internal billing grid, internal budget, and prospective reimbursement analysis.
• Review industry budgets vs. internal budgets and negotiate with sponsor or CRO.
• Oversee NYU Langone Heart industry-sponsored budget development during activation.
• Manage study activation, coordinate with OSR and Heart teams to resolve bottlenecks.
• Load budgets into the system, track amendments, and ensure approvals.
• Provide updates to leadership on progress of new industry studies and amendments.
