Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience or equivalent experience/training.
• Thorough understanding of federal and non-federal sponsor guidelines.
• Ability to manage a high volume of transactions.
• Strong financial analysis and customized reporting abilities.
• Proficiency with Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, financial modeling).
• Independent judgment, strong organization and communication skills.
• Knowledge of accounting, fiscal and reporting principles.
• Experience with grant funding processes and sponsor guidelines.
• Strong writing skills tailored to funding sponsors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee research proposals, awards, and related transactions.
• Ensure contract and grant records comply with sponsor policies.
• Oversee complex proposals potentially involving multiple investigators or subawards.
• Guide less experienced staff and support delegated signature authority where applicable.
