Job summary

UCSF Health is seeking a Senior Post Award Analyst in San Francisco to lead budgeting, monitoring, and reporting for complex contracts and grants within the Department of Medicine. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area and 5+ years of related experience with a minimum of 4 years of post-award management; and / or equivalent experience / training.
• Maintains knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply sponsor, institutional and departmental policies.
• Advanced knowledge of generally accepted accounting, fiscal and reporting principles.
• Experience with all types of award mechanisms, including grants, contracts, subcontracts, and cooperative agreements.
• Full knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation, Code of Federal Regulations, sponsor- specific policies, intellectual property policy, conflict of interest requirements, publication rights,
• application of indirect cost rates and other complex concepts in research administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the post-award team in budgeting, monitoring, and reporting for complex contracts and grants.
• Coordinate cross-site activities with investigators and departments to ensure compliance with funding sources and policies.
• Provide high-level post-award support and develop standard templates and procedures for efficient administration.
• Prepare and analyze budget plans and monthly projections aligned with award terms and audit requirements.
• Mentor and train junior analysts in financial portfolio management and reporting.
