Job summary

UC Irvine seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator to oversee human studies examining maternal stress and its effects on mother and child health. Responsibilities include participant screening, consent, visits, data management, regulatory compliance, and lab management of biospecimens.

Position emphasizes organizational skills, protocol development, and collaboration with ICTS, CCR, and off-site partners; bilingual Spanish is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with clinical research process including recruitment, biospecimen collection and data management.
• Fluency in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage human clinical research studies with wet-lab components.
• Screen, recruit, obtain informed consent, and follow study visits.
• Manage data, regulatory documents, and study logistics.
• Oversee biospecimen collection, processing, and storage.
• Supervise junior staff and coordinate with collaborating departments.
• Prepare regulatory documentation for IRB and maintain study protocols.
