We have received grants from major funders such as the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, the Gates Foundation, ARPA-H, and other private foundations to fund mobile app and wearable studies in populations of pregnant individuals, frontline healthcare workers, students with mental health conditions, patients with Crohn’s disease, cancer, diabetes, bipolar disorder, cardiovascular disease, Long COVID and a number of rare conditions.

We are recruiting full-time Clinical Research Coordinators (Participant Engagement Experts) to support two upcoming studies - Our Transitions: Improving the Path to Menopause with Personal Digital Health Technologies (P-DHTs), and Beta-Cell Evaluation Through Data-Driven Assessments (BETA 2): Non-Invasive Evaluation of Pancreatic Function in Prediabetes and Type 2 Diabetes.

These are full-time remote positions available starting in February 2026 that require a commitment greater than 12 months.

• Building and maintaining relationships with participants to support study participation and engagement through bi-weekly phone check-ins
• Consistently communicating with participants via email throughout the study period
• Conducting video calls with participants to supervise at-home aspects of participation
• Organizing and maintaining participant contact logs and entering study data within REDCap
• Reporting and troubleshooting issues with mobile study apps and wearable devices
• Helping to modify study and app features before and during active studies
• Closely monitoring the participant study experience via the adherence dashboard

Qualifications

• Relevant clinical research experience working directly with patients/study participants
• Effective and efficient communication skills for diverse audiences
• Active and empathetic listener whose life experiences further enhance ability to relate to participants

• A sense of urgency to support the increasingly failing healthcare community
