Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Clinical Consultant Research to coordinate assigned clinical studies in accordance with GCP guidelines and federal regulations. You will recruit, consent, educate participants, manage data, and support study operations under PI supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Required)
• Clinical Research Coordinator Certification (or equivalent approved Clinical Research Certification)
• One year of relevant work or academic experience preferred
• Prior experience in a medical environment preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, customer service, problem solving and multitasking
• Strong computer skills, including knowledge of EMR and Microsoft products

Responsibilities

• Assists with implementation and coordination of research studies and projects.
• Accountable to PI for study specific responsibilities.
• Organizes, plans and carries out research efficiently under supervision.
• Leads internal training to implement protocol and avoid deviations.
• Oversees recruitment procedures and enrollment as directed by the PI.
• Ensures study parameters are applied during participant visits and data collection.
• Records data accurately onto required forms; maintains source documentation.
• Attends investigator meetings and pre-study site visits as needed.
• Participates in protocol meetings to review procedures and visit flow.
• Supports informed consent process with the Investigator.
• Serves as primary contact for study participants and questions.
• Maintains study records per sponsor/regulations; prepares for archiving.
• Develops and reviews reporting metrics; generates ad hoc reports.
• Demonstrates effective communication and teamwork; coordinates with sponsor and investigators.
