Job summary

Lightship is seeking a highly motivated Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to lead day-to-day coordination of assigned clinical trials in line with GCP, FDA regulations, and Lightship SOPs. You will manage regulatory submissions, site visits, and sponsor communications, while ensuring patient safety and data integrity.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of clinical research experience, GCP training, and phlebotomy skills, with strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, nursing, healthcare, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute clinical research studies from feasibility to close-out.
• Serve as primary site contact for sponsors, CROs, IRBs/IECs, and vendors.
• Independently manage day-to-day trial operations with PI oversight.
• Recruit and pre-screen participants and coordinate enrollment.
• Coordinate participant visits, retention, and follow-up activities.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen handling per protocol.
• Maintain inspection-ready study records and essential documents.
• Complete accurate data entry and resolve data queries.
• Identify and report adverse events and protocol deviations.
• Prepare for site visits and sponsor/regulatory audits.
• Handle investigational product activities as applicable.
• Educate participants on study requirements and contact points.
• Protect participant privacy and compliance with Lightship policies.
• Manage study supplies and inventory, track expirations.
• Report recruitment status and escalate risks to PI.
