Axle is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to support NIH/NIDA research activities in Baltimore, MD. The role involves screening participants, obtaining informed consent, conducting mental health assessments, and managing data and regulatory documentation.

Qualified candidates will have a Master’s in psychology, social work, or related field, 3+ years in research, and BLS certification. The position requires strong communication, organizational skills, and NIH/NIDA training compliance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or related field required.
• Minimum 3 years in a research-related field.
• Must have experience interacting with human subjects in clinical or research settings.
• Experience with clinical trials.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills with customer service orientation for participant contact.
• Ability to complete NIH/NIDA mandatory trainings by deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Screen and schedule study participants and obtain informed consent.
• Administer mental health assessments and diagnostic interviews.
• Collect and manage research data; maintain regulatory documentation.
• Liaise between participants and investigators; manage biological specimen handling.
• Coordinate travel and remuneration for study candidates; manage recruitment communications.
• Enter data into EMR and generate reports; maintain study records and inventories.
