Job summary

Empathx Clinical Research in Montclair, CA is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to oversee day-to-day study operations for multiple trials in Phases I–IV. You will work with the Principal Investigator, sponsors, and monitors to ensure compliance with GCP, SOPs, and regulations while maintaining participant safety and data integrity.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, at least two years of clinical research experience, and bilingual English/Spanish skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical research experience.
• Experience with Phase I–IV clinical trials.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct study visits in accordance with the protocol, including obtaining informed consent, collecting source data, and administering study procedures and assessments
• Perform clinical procedures as delegated by the Principal Investigator, including phlebotomy and vital signs
• Manage the coordination of three or more concurrent studies, prioritizing visit schedules and deliverables across protocols
• Screen, recruit, and enroll study participants; verify eligibility against inclusion/exclusion criteria
• Maintain regulatory binders/eTMF documentation and ensure all required regulatory documents are current
• Enter and query study data into electronic data capture (EDC) systems within required timelines
• Collaborate with the Principal Investigator, Sub-Investigators, and study team to resolve protocol deviations and operational issues
• Maintain the study's recruitment and retention plan; track screening, enrollment, and discontinuation metrics
• Travel to sponsor monitoring visits, audits, and regulatory inspections as needed
