Job summary

The University of Virginia School of Nursing seeks a highly organized Clinical Research Coordinator 2 (CRC 2), Non-Licensed to support NIH- and institutionally funded research on reproductive and maternal health outcomes with emphasis on disability.

The CRC 2 will work with the PI and multidisciplinary team across multiple studies, manage timelines and regulatory requirements, coordinate recruitment and data collection, and support dissemination efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent combination of experience, education and certifications.
• At least 1 year of clinical research experience; healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience with IRB submissions and regulatory documentation.
• Experience with REDCap or comparable research data-management systems.
• Experience coordinating NIH- or federally funded research.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day implementation of research protocols with the PI and investigative team.
• Manage study timelines, milestones, deliverables, and regulatory requirements across multiple projects.
• Prepare, submit, and maintain IRB applications, amendments, continuing reviews, protocols, consent documents, and other materials.
• Coordinate participant recruitment, screening, enrollment, consent, scheduling, and retention activities.
• Collect data via interviews, surveys, and other methods per study protocols.
• Maintain study records, regulatory documents, and data-tracking systems.
