Job summary

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Virginia School of Medicine seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator 1 or 2 (CRC 1-2), Non-Licensed, to support NIH, industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies within the Pediatrics Department.

The CRC will work with Principal Investigators, clinical research staff, and healthcare teams, focusing on eating disorders research in adolescents and young adults.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent combination of experience, education and certifications.
• CRC1: no experience required; CRC2: at least 1 year of clinical research experience preferred.
• Knowledge of clinical research terminology is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day clinical research activities with principal investigators and study teams.
• Support study start-up, regulatory documents, study materials, and documentation.
• Create and maintain study tools: visit schedules, source documents, checklists, training logs.
