Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a Research & Laboratory professional to coordinate multiple clinical research projects under the supervision of investigators. The role involves direct interaction with participants, data management, and adherence to HRPP standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating regulatory documentation, scheduling procedures, screening and enrolling subjects, and assisting with budget and billing tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in medical or science related field
• 2 years clinical research experience required; additional years or advanced degree may be considered in lieu of education/experience

Responsibilities

• Direct interaction with clinical research participants via telephone, telehealth or in-person.
• Coordinate regulatory documentation for research protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards and HRPP.
• Schedule procedures and manage non-licensed coordination tasks under PI oversight.
• Screen, recruit, enroll and follow subjects according to protocol guidelines; assist with consent processes as needed.
• Maintain and coordinate data collection; develop data collection tools or CRFs as required.
• Assist in developing and implementing research studies, including writing clinical research protocols.
• Monitor patient safety by reviewing records and reporting per protocol and HRPP standards.
• Assist in fiscal management of trials, including budget preparation; may handle basic research billing.
