Conducts research assessments on study participants. Assists with and adheres to Institutional Review Board (IRB) renewal, modification, and approved protocols. Assists with training staff. Ensures adherence to protocols and corrects issues with data collection.
Med-Neurology
The Research Coordinator will provide support to the Outreach, Recruitment and Engagement Core of the NIH-NIA funded Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC) at the University of Pittsburgh, Department of Neurology. Incumbent will provide support to community initiatives (educational programming on aging, wellness, brain health, and memory problems) in the western PA region. Job duties also conducting initial interviews with community members interested in participation in research projects, serving as navigator for initial assessment and annual follow-ups, collaboration with engagement coordinators in other Pitt research grants, development of new community contact and assist in development of retention strategies to enhance research participation.
