Job Summary
Performs a variety of laboratory experiments and procedures. Prepares specimens. Oversees supply management. Operates and properly maintains equipment.
Essential Functions
We are seeking a full-time research technician to assist with neurophysiology studies using animal models. This individual will oversee surgical, experimental, and general daily activities in the Neuro Mechatronics labs. We seek a highly motivated individual with strong organizational, interpersonal skills with experience in experimental data collection, documentation and reporting. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up the experimental apparatus, maintaining inventory, documentation, animal training, data collection, management, and analysis in collaboration with researchers, veterinarians, husbandry, and facilities staff.
Physical Effort
Must be able to lift 20lbs.
