Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care in Memphis is seeking a Research Coordinator I to support coordination of research protocols in alignment with Good Clinical Practice guidelines and sponsor requirements.

The role involves recruitment, screening, enrollment, randomization, and patient management per protocol, plus data collection and coordination with IRB, sponsors, and investigators. Travel may be required for this position.

Qualifications

• 2+ years lab, medical and/or research experience.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Proficiency with MS Word, EMR and CTMS.

Responsibilities

• Understands and applies policies, procedures, and regulations governing human subjects research.
• Implements and reports to the IRB; coordinates regulatory processes.
• Manages clinical research operations and data collection activities.
• Maintains communication with investigators, sponsors, staff, participants and related organizations.
• Acts as an advocate for human subjects and ensures protocol compliance.
• Engages in training and professional development to improve performance.
• Completes assigned goals.
