Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a Research Coordinator to support clinical studies under investigator supervision. You will coordinate patient visits, collect data, and ensure regulatory compliance for multiple trials.

The role emphasizes data integrity, subject safety, and responsive coordination with research teams, sponsors, and HRPP guidelines. Experience in REDCap and ECRF platforms is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical or science-related field required.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical research experience; additional experience or advanced degree may be considered in lieu of education/experience.
• Licenses and certifications such as CPR/BLS or related credentials may be required depending on study protocols.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate regulatory aspects of trials to comply with FDA, university policies, and HRPP standards.
• Screen, recruit, enroll and follow subjects per protocol guidance with proper consent.
• Maintain data collection and ensure quality control across study records and databases (e.g., CRFs, data queries).
• Prepare for study visits and assist in building or updating REDCap projects and data tools.
• Assist with study budgets and basic research billing activities as needed.
• Monitor patient safety and report per protocol requirements and HRPP standards.
• Help develop study-related websites or social media for recruitment.
