Candidates who are in the process of completing their bachelor's degree have a six-month grace period from their hire date (up to one year if starting on a per diem basis) to provide degree equivalency verification.Does this position require Patient Care? The CRC will be involved in three main projects: a randomized controlled trial of colchicine versus placebo in participants with CPPD disease, a registry of individuals with CPPD disease, and a study focused on bone and CPPD disease. The ideal candidate for this role will be highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities independently while meeting deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment, honesty, and a proactive problem-solving approach are essential, along with an interest in learning new skills. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills and comfort interacting with patients, particularly older adults, for study recruitment and research study visits. Responsibilities will also include retrieving and handling surgical specimens from the operating room and transporting whole-blood specimens across the hospital.
