Job summary

Stanford University School of Medicine seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator 2 (CRC2) to coordinate a dynamic portfolio of complex clinical trials in critical care and operative settings. You will recruit, enroll, and manage data while ensuring protocol adherence and regulatory compliance in ICU/OR environments.

The fixed-term position covers collaboration with nurses, pharmacists, investigators, and sponsors, with potential extended hours and weekends as required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a related field with minimum two years of clinical research experience.
• Experience coordinating complex industry-sponsored trials in critical care or OR settings.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, FDA regulations, and IRB requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead subject recruitment and enrollment goals; design outreach strategies.
• Oversee data management; organize, report and monitor data quality.
• Collaborate on schedules, targets, measurements, and accountabilities.
• Train or mentor staff; assist with evaluations and onboarding.
• Audit operations; ensure regulatory compliance and IRB integrity.
• Collaborate with PIs and sponsors; monitor adverse events and queries.
• Help define policies; implement process improvements and best practices.
• Develop study budgets; track milestones and sponsor invoicing.
• Ensure regulatory compliance; verify IND and IRB renewals when applicable.
• May require extended hours, including nights or weekends as needed.
