Qualifications

• HS/GED required
• 2 yrs of research experience; or Medical Assistant (prefer certified)/Laboratory Technician with at least 6 months of clinical experience.
• Experience maintaining regulatory documentation, study files, and records preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are important.

Responsibilities

• File and store significant study documents in an organized system.
• Document on case report forms.
• Retrieve medical records (electronic and/or paper).
• May collect clinical data such as vital signs, EKGs, weights, etc.
• Perform phlebotomy as directed by the study plan and transport specimens to the lab.
• Enter data in sponsor portals accurately.
• Maintain organized files for sponsor audits.
• Collect specimens and ship as required by the study.
• Schedule study appointments for patients.
• Triage research-related calls to proper sources.
• Responsible for long-term follow-up.
