Job summary

K2 Medical Research in Orlando (Maitland), Florida, seeks a Clinical Research Assistant to support Phase I trials. You will assist with screening, data collection, and coordination with investigators while maintaining GCP and SOP adherence.

The role emphasizes patient interaction, regulatory knowledge, and collaboration with trial staff. A four-day work week is offered along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• Prior experience in a clinical environment preferred; clinical research ideal.
• RN/LPN or other medical licensure/certification preferred.
• Applicants not meeting 100% of qualifications may be considered with related experience and demonstrated capability.

Responsibilities

• Track and move candidates through screening efficiently and support coordinators.
• Understand studies by reading protocols and attending meetings; coordinate with Principal Investigator.
• Assist Site Director and Project Management on projects as needed.
• Adhere to study protocol and obtain exemptions when necessary/appropriate.
• Communicate protocol issues to CRO/Sponsor, Site Administrator, Director or Sub-Investigator.
• Collect initial psychiatric/medical information by interviewing patients.
• Maintain timely source documentation and sponsor information; dispense and record study medication.
