Job summary

K2 Medical Research in Maitland/Orlando, FL seeks a Research Assistant to support Phase I clinical trials, coordinating screening, documentation, and patient care. You will work closely with the Site Director, project teams, and sponsors to ensure protocol adherence and timely data collection.

Ideal candidates hold HS Diploma (GED) with healthcare exposure; higher degrees preferred. Licensure such as LPN/RN is a plus, and you will benefit from a comprehensive benefits package and a four-day work

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• Prior experience in a clinical environment preferred; experience in clinical research ideal.
• LPN, RN, or other medical licensure or certification preferred.
• Applicants that don't meet 100% of qualifications may be considered with related education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Track and move candidates through screening efficiently.
• Understand studies by reading protocols, attending meetings, and coordinating with the Principal Investigator.
• Assist the Site Director and Project Management team on projects as needed.
• Adhere strictly to the study protocol; obtain exemptions when necessary/appropriate.
• Communicate protocol issues to CRO and/or Sponsor, Site Administrator, Director, Principal or Sub-Investigator.
• articulate all pertinent issues to the PI or document by email/letter or during meetings.
