Job summary

K2 Medical Research is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator for our Daytona Beach clinic. You will support trial conduct in accordance with SOPs and federal regulations, manage patient information, and ensure accurate source documentation and medication handling.

The role emphasizes patient education and effective communication with sponsors and CROs. Ideal candidates have clinical experience and knowledge of GCP/FDA guidelines, with a focus on neurodegenerative and related therapeutic areas,

Responsibilities

• Understand studies via protocols and meetings with the Principal Investigator.
• Adhere to study protocol and obtain exemptions when necessary.
• Communicate protocol issues to CRO/Sponsor and site leads.
• Document issues by email/letter or in meetings.
• Collect initial psychiatric and medical information from patients.
• Maintain communication among patients, staff, sponsors and CROs.
• Use psychiatric rating scales and maintain interrater reliability.
• Perform clinical tasks: vital signs, ECG, phlebotomy, specimen handling.
• Maintain source documentation and sponsor information.
• Dispense and document study medication.
• Educate patients and families about the study and trials.
• Respond to monitor and sponsor queries promptly.
• Refer patients to community resources after participation.
