Job summary

University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is seeking two full-time Clinical Research Assistants to recruit participants for clinical studies. You will screen patients, obtain consent, conduct visits, and assist with data collection and processing in collaboration with the medical team.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, with preferred experience in research and patient-facing settings; a Bachelor's degree in a science-related field is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of general workforce experience.
• Experience in conducting research.
• Experience in a patient-facing setting.
• Bachelor's degree in science related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Screen hospital patients for qualification according to protocol criteria via the electronic medical record and coordination with the clinical team.
• Consent participants into research studies and conduct or direct the care team to conduct study assessments.
• Perform study specific or routine physical/clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, blood pressure readings, pulse, cognitive assessments, questionnaires, etc.
