Job summary

The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, seeks a Research Assistant focused on gynecologic clinical research. This 100% clinical role collaborates with programs across UC Health and Cincinnati Children's to advance studies.

You will assist physicians, recruit patients, perform routine procedures, enter data, and help prepare study materials. Required education includes a high school diploma; an associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Assist in clinical studies under physician guidance.
• Recruit study participants and manage enrollment.
• Perform routine procedures such as phlebotomy and vitals.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians, nurses and researchers during clinical studies.
• Assist with patient recruitment and study enrollment.
• Perform routine physical/clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, blood pressure readings, pulse etc.
• Prepare procedure room, change linen and paper, stock gowns, sheets and other supplies.
• Schedule study-related appointments by phone; schedule return visits and tests.
• Enter data from medical records into study systems.
• Support documentation and data quality for trials.
