Job summary

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill, NC seeks a Social/Clinical Research Assistant to support the Epidemiology Research Team within Radiology. You will assist with screening, recruitment, data collection, and EHR abstraction across collaborating facilities.

The role focuses on data quality, SOP development, and collaboration with study teams to ensure timely and accurate study execution. Work hours are 9:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• All degrees must be from appropriately accredited institutions.
• Experience with Epic and REDCap is preferred.
• This is a computer-based role; candidates should be able to work effectively from a computer and in front of a screen for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Completing electronic health record abstraction from collaborating facilities in an efficient, effective, and timely manner.
• Documenting and reporting data issues to the supervisor in a timely manner.
• Developing and implementing quality control and quality assurance procedures for data collection tasks.
• Generating reports and critically evaluating data for quality purposes.
• Participating and presenting in study team meetings and Epidemiology Research Team meetings.
