Job summary

Alliance For MultiSpecialty Research in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Research Assistant to support a wide range of administrative and clinical tasks at the study site, ensuring protocol adherence and data integrity. The role reports to the Site Manager/Team Lead and is non-exempt.

Key duties include prioritizing tasks, assisting with regulatory compliance, data collection, specimen handling, and daily study operations. Weekend or overtime may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Medical office experience or equivalent preferred.
• Phlebotomy skills are preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent task management and organization.
• Ability to multi-task in an always evolving fast paced environment.
• Proficient knowledge of operating office equipment and software.
• Ability to be ambulatory most of the workday.
• Ability to lift/transfer/push/manipulate equipment and patients, which requires strength and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain compliance with protocol deviations, SAEs, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor & report Adverse Events and safety concerns per FDA, IRB and sponsor requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Study Protocols, GCP, FDA regulations and site SOPs.
• Assist in subject retention and engagement efforts.
• Perform inventory management of study supplies and lab kits.
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation of study activities.
• Perform laboratory responsibilities with proper labeling, handling, and shipment of specimens.
• Establish and maintain patient rapport during clinical drug trials.
