Job summary

Alcanza Clinical Research is seeking a Research Assistant to support clinical coordinators and site staff across multiple sites. You will assist with patient screening, follow-ups, data entry in EDC, and specimen handling under protocol guidance.

The role emphasizes HIPAA compliance, strong organization, and clear communication with investigators and patients. A HS diploma and 30+ hours weekly availability are typical expectations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; clinical/admin experience preferred.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in clinical research or healthcare settings is favored.

Responsibilities

• Assist CRCs, Site Manager, and investigators with study procedures.
• Screen patients for enrollment and conduct follow-ups per protocol.
• Document findings in source charts and enter data in EDC.
• Obtain vital signs, ECGs, and potentially collect blood samples.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality at all times.
