Job summary

Velocity Clinical Research, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Research Assistant to support the Clinical Operations Team in collecting, documenting, and maintaining clinical data, including phlebotomy, data entry and administrative duties.

The role includes venipuncture, assisting with clinical assessments, processing and shipping specimens, data entry into sponsor/vendor portals, and maintaining confidential patient information.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical degree with at least 1 year of relevant life sciences experience.
• Phlebotomy licensure per state requirements.
• Ability to use computers, Office applications, and basic lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting clinical trials per protocol, GCP, ICH guidelines and Velocity SOPs.
• Perform venipuncture/capillary puncture within protocol and regulatory scope.
• Assist with clinical assessments (vital signs, ECG) under supervision.
• Process, package and ship laboratory specimens per protocol and IATA rules.
• Track and maintain inventory of laboratory and study supplies.
