Job summary

Velocity Clinical Research, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Research Assistant to support the Clinical Operations Team in data collection, documentation, and maintenance of clinical data. The role includes phlebotomy, data entry, and administrative duties to ensure trial integrity and patient care.

You will perform venipuncture and clinical assessments as needed, maintain study documentation, and assist in recruiting potential subjects while upholding regulatory and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to use computers and Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting clinical trials following study protocol and GCP guidelines.
• Perform phlebotomy or specimen collection as required by protocol.
• Enter data into sponsor/CRO portals and resolve basic data queries.
• Maintain inventory of lab supplies and assist with shipping of specimens.
• Coordinate front office tasks: scheduling, calls, and patient tracking.
