Job Description Summary

Assist in supporting clinical research studies in the Department of Surgery/Division of Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery, in partnership with the College of Medicine Center for Clinical Research Management (CCRM). Responsibilities include study implementation and coordination, participant recruitment, behavioral or diagnostic testing, and data collection, maintenance, and reporting.

Minimum Education Required

Bachelor’s Degree in biological sciences, health sciences, or medical field, or equivalent experience.

Skills and Experience Desired

• Research experience preferred.
• Knowledge or experience in specialty areas may be advantageous.
• Phlebotomy experience may be preferred.
• Experience with basic laboratory procedures for biological specimens is a plus.
• Computer skills, especially with database software, are required.

Additional Information

Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required.
