GDIT’s Military Health Team is hiring a Clinical Research Assistant to support the TBI Center of Excellence (TBICoE) located at Ft. Bragg in North Carolina.
As the TBI Pathway of Care manager within the MHS, the Traumatic Brain Injury Center of Excellence promotes state-of-the-science care from point-of-injury to reintegration for service members, veterans, and their families to prevent and mitigate consequences of mild to severe TBI. The Clinical Research Assistant will assist with clinical investigation projects, including recruitment, data collection, organization, and scheduling follow-up appointments.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Perform data entry and maintain databases for clinical investigation projects.
- Assist in preparing technical reports, summaries, and protocols.
- Maintain study-related documents and supplies, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Create, collect, disseminate, and organize study data; review and complete study manuals and SOPs.
- Screen and schedule potential research participants; facilitate follow-up assessments.
- Extract and transcribe data from patient records; resolve data queries; prepare documents; report statistical analyses for research studies.
- Ensure awareness and compliance with research regulatory issues.
- Communicate regularly with the study team via email and conference calls.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED (REQUIRED):
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 1 year of experience in research/clinical investigations, including recruitment, data collection, and scheduling.
- Ability to pass a T3 security investigation.
WHAT WOULD BE EVEN BETTER (PREFERRED):
- Prior experience within DoD/VA systems of care.
