Job description

CONMED is seeking a Clinical Representative to join our highly talented Advanced Surgical clinical support team. This is a field-based position where you can live anywhere in the Eastern United States near a major airport. In this unique role, you will leverage your nursing education to support our sales team and customers in their facilities. This is a remote position. Candidates must be located in the Eastern Time Zone.

Key duties and responsibilities

1. Support product evaluations and implementations in the operating room
2. Conduct accredited continuing education programs for nursing staff
3. Deliver in-service training for ConMed's Advanced Surgical products
4. Assist in educating and training new Clinical Representatives and Sales Representatives
5. Provide technical and troubleshooting support as requested from customers and sales representatives
6. Develop and maintain comprehensive product and technical knowledge of CONMED Advanced Surgical products, including features, functions, and benefits
7. Develop and maintain a current understanding of relevant disease states
8. Develop and maintain knowledge of the competitive landscape
9. Develop and maintain knowledge of competitive products, including features, functions, and benefits

After thorough training, you will become a clinical expert, answering customer and sales representative questions about CONMED's Advanced Surgical products and their proper use. Our Clinical Representatives are also expected to advocate with clinicians to find opportunities to expand the use of our products. Collaboration with sales representatives and regional sales directors is essential for success.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for a B.S. in Nursing or other healthcare-related degrees
• Operating Room or similar clinical experience is required
• Ability to comply with Vendor Credentialing requirements, including immunizations and vaccinations
• Willingness and ability to travel 50-70% overnight locally, regionally, and nationally
• Candidates must reside in the EST time zone.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AORN membership preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• High energy, self-motivated, and self-directed

Disclosure: The annual salary range for this position is $75,000 to $143,000, depending on location, experience, education, and skills. This range is a good faith estimate at the time of posting.
