Responsibilities

This position is remote with some travel to centers in NM. Must reside in New Mexico for easy travel.

Within a defined geographic area, the Clinical Reimbursement Lead models the MDS process and capability standards, providing direct guidance to MDS Coordinators and nursing center teams to achieve clinical reimbursement performance goals. Responsibilities include:

  1. Leveraging knowledge and experience to improve center-level Quality Measure results, enhancing Star Ratings.
  2. Identifying MDS opportunities and partnering with Nursing Home Administrators to set training goals for MDS Coordinators, providing ongoing support.
  3. Providing guidance, oversight, and direction for compliance with auditing activities and investigations related to MDS and reimbursement.

Qualifications

  • Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing with a license as a Registered Nurse or an equivalent professional license (e.g., Physical Therapist).
  • Experience with Medicare and State-specific Medicaid (as applicable).
  • Willingness to travel, as this position requires onsite presence most of the time.

Posted Salary Range

USD $95,000.00 - USD $105,000.00 per year.
