Qualifications

  • Experience with Medicare and State-specific Medicaid programs.

Responsibilities

This position is remote with some travel to centers in NM.

The Clinical Reimbursement Lead models the MDS process and standards within a defined geographic area, providing guidance to MDS Coordinators and nursing teams to achieve clinical reimbursement performance. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leverage knowledge to improve center-level Quality Measure results, enhancing Star Ratings.
  2. Identify MDS opportunities and collaborate with Nursing Home Administrators to set and support MDS training goals.
  3. Oversee compliance, auditing activities, and investigations related to MDS and reimbursement.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved nursing school with a RN license or equivalent (e.g., Physical Therapist).
  • Experience with Medicare and State-specific Medicaid programs.
  • Willingness to travel as required for onsite presence.
