Job summary

HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is seeking a compassionate Clinical Rehab Specialist (RN) to assess and treat adult patients in a collaborative, patient-centered care model.

You will work with Rehab physicians and the interdisciplinary team, coordinating admissions and on-site evaluations while promoting high-quality rehab services. Weekend coverage is required monthly, with potential weekday availability as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed health care professional (RN, PT, OT, RT or SLP) with current FL licensure or FL compact license.
• Registered Nurse licensed in FL or eligible for licensure before start date.
• 1 year of RN experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS/ACLS as required by role.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison to healthcare facilities supporting Rehab physicians and administration.
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate business and medical information prior to patient admission.
• Perform on-site evaluations and participate in rehab programs.
• Engage in community and educational activities promoting rehabilitation.
• Ensure efficient use of time, supplies and equipment for patient care.
• Look for 1 weekend per month coverage and possible weekday availability.

Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a dynamic Clinical Rehab Specialist to join our team. We need a compassionate and reliable RN to provide care and treatment to ill, injured, and recovering adults in our patient centered care model. In this role you will be required to make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE:

Requirements:

• Licensed Professional in a clinical health care specialty (RN, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Respiratory Therapist or Speech Therapist). Current FL licensure or FL approved compact license.

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start is required

• 1 year of RN experience is preferred

• BSN is preferred

• BLS, (AHA Healthcare provider) required
