Job summary

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC, based in Warwick, Rhode Island, seeks a Clinical Registered Dietitian for part-time, hybrid work. The role combines in-person and telehealth with flexible days and 1 onsite visit every other week.

Compensation ranges from $40.00 to $44.00 per hour, with travel reimbursement at the same hourly rate. Ideal for candidates with 1+ year clinical experience and RD credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.
• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Current state licensure/certification (if mandated by the state)
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience (preferred).
• Proficiency in electronic charting systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments on new admissions and quarterly thereafter, with more frequent reviews as needed for high-risk residents.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other care team members.
• Ensure compliance with CMS/DOH regulations.
• Monitor weight changes weekly/monthly.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Conduct monthly kitchen sanitation audits and document findings.
• Review and approve menu to meet USDA guidelines.
• Perform other tasks as assigned within scope of practice.
