Daybreak Health in Dallas is seeking a high-volume Recruiter to own the full recruiting cycle for licensed therapists, counselors, and social workers delivering youth mental health care. You will move fast, engage candidates, and collaborate with clinical leadership to fill seats with clinicians who fit clinically and culturally.
You’ll source widely, manage pipelines across multiple states, and partner with credentialing and onboarding teams to ensure a strong start for every new hire.
Daybreak Health partners with school districts to make sure any student who needs mental health care can actually get it. The gap we're closing is real: the recommended ratio is one school psychologist per 500 students, and the national reality is closer to one per 1,200, which means families wait months while counselors carry impossible caseloads. We match every student to a clinician based on language, culture, identity, and what they're actually working through, usually starting care within a week or two of a referral and at no cost to the family. It works. 81% of students improve on standardized clinical measures, 92% of families report meaningful behavioral change at home, and 80% of school staff see better attendance, grades, and behavior. We're backed by Union Square Ventures, Lux Capital, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Maven Ventures, and Y Combinator, and we already serve districts representing more than a million students. That still leaves most of the country without an answer, which is exactly where this role comes in.
you will own the full recruiting cycle for our licensed therapists, counselors, and social workers who deliver care to the young people we serve. This is a high-volume, relationship-driven role. Mental health clinicians are in high demand, so you'll need to move fast, communicate clearly, and keep candidates engaged from first contact through offer. You'll work closely with clinical leadership to understand hiring needs and make sure every open seat gets filled with someone who is a strong fit, clinically and culturally.
