Job summary

Pacific Cataract & Laser Institute in Lewiston, Idaho is seeking a friendly Front Office Receptionist to support patient flow. You will greet patients, collect payments, update records, and perform general office duties in a busy clinic.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and a professional, cooperative demeanor. Office hours are Monday–Friday with varied schedules as needed.

Qualifications

  • General office skills including telephone, filing, 10-key, keyboarding and MS Office.
  • Strong written and spoken communication.
  • Excellent organizational and detail-oriented abilities.

  • Valid driving record and background check.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and assist with completion of patient paperwork as necessary.
  • Receive payments and answer billing questions, working with cash payment agreements.
  • Edit patient information in practice management system as necessary.
  • Faxing, copying and scanning paperwork.
  • Maintain and reconcile petty cash fund.
  • Keep office area clean and tidy.
  • Miscellaneous duties: make coffee, fill snacks, straighten waiting area.

This position is essential to the smooth flow of patients through the clinic. The position includes handling telephones, greeting patients, and assisting in collection of payments for services, general office work. This person should be a flexible, cooperative and versatile member of the staff and a pleasant part of the entire patient experience at PCLI.

Job Duties
  • Greet patients and assist with completion of patient paperwork as necessary.
  • Receive payments and answer billing questions, working with cash payment agreements.
  • Edit patient information in practice management system as necessary.
  • Faxing, copying and scanning paperwork.

Office Hours

Monday - Thursday 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Friday 7:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
