Job summary

University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health (UM UCH) seeks a Quality Management Specialist to drive clinical excellence and ensure adherence to best practices.

Under general supervision, you will conduct medical record reviews, support Peer Reviews, OPPE, FPPE, and analyze quality data to meet Pay for Performance targets and regulatory requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in healthcare, an active Maryland RN license, and healthcare quality certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare required.
  • Graduate of an accredited RN program.
  • Active RN license to practice in the State of Maryland required.
  • Certifications in Healthcare Quality or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive clinical excellence to achieve quality outcomes.
  • Conduct medical record reviews and identify areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate Peer Reviews, OPPE, and FPPE as applicable.
  • Perform quality data analysis, reviews, and reporting to meet regulatory requirements and Pay for Performance objectives.
