University of Maryland Medical System seeks a Care Management professional to assist the Director in managing the Care Management Department across providers and systems. The role focuses on achieving optimal clinical and financial outcomes in alignment with regulatory requirements and hospital needs.

Responsibilities include working with Care Managers, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting physicians and hospital personnel to deliver high-quality care and cost containment.

Formación

• BSN or MSW required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in case management including 2 years in progressive management.
• Knowledge of third party payer regulations and case management methodologies.
• Excellent writing and strong organization; ability to multitask.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with physicians, hospital staff and external agencies.
• Problem solving aptitude with ability to identify and resolve issues.
• Experience with automated databases.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Director of Population Health in managing the Care Management Department.
• Collaborate with Care Managers to ensure regulatory compliance and optimal clinical and financial outcomes.
• Represent and report to the Director, Care Management.
