Full time, exempt, days, 8am-5pm
Under general supervision, this role drives clinical excellence to achieve quality outcomes and objectives. Conducts medical record reviews and identifies areas for improvement and adherence to best practices. Facilitates Medical Peer Reviews, Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluations (OPPE), and for-cause Focused Professional Practice Evaluations (FPPE). Conducts quality data analysis, reviews, and reporting to maintain regulatory requirements and driving clinical outcomes on Pay for Performance Quality programs.
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare required. Graduate of an accredited RN program. Active RN license to practice in the State of Maryland required. Certifications in Healthcare Quality or related field is preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years healthcare experience required. Experience with Maryland’s Quality based reimbursement programs preferred. Previous quality management, risk management, patient safety, or performance improvement experience preferred. Proficient with QI methodologies, applications and theory. Years of experience can substitute educational requirements if applicable.
